JACKSON, Skip. (WTVA) – State health insurance and police officials in Mississippi are warning the general public about the usage of CBD services and products.
The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN) and the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) discouraged the use of CBD products during a Wednesday press conference, officials with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety ( DPS.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is derived from the cannabis plant and has now been found in other ways, like the remedy for discomfort.
“We do not know exactly exactly what components or quantities have been in the products and without the right labeling, that you don’t understand what you will be eating and that’s dangerous,” Commissioner of Public protection Marshall Fisher stated.
MBN Director John Dowdy stated state screening of CBD items bought within the state showed that lots of CBD services and products are mislabeled, might be harmful and perhaps unlawful. Continue reading article
